Apple Event 2023: iPhone 15, Watch Series 9, and AirPods Pro

Apple held its annual September event, dubbed “Wonderlust,” on September 12, 2023. The event was streamed live on the company’s YouTube channel and was hosted by Apple CEO Tim Cook.

iPhone 15

The iPhone 15 series features a stunning new design with a 6.1-inch display for the standard model and a 6.7-inch display for the Plus model . The phones come with updated hardware and display for Apple lovers . The iPhone 15 lineup includes four models: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro, and iPhone 15 Pro Max . The top two models - iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max - come with faster data transfer speed. Other design changes include thinner bezels. Apple has reportedly shifted to USB Type-C charging with the iPhone 15 series due to European Union regulations.

Watch Series 9

The Apple Watch Series 9 features the S9 chip with a four-core neural engine. It is Apple’s first carbon-neutral product. The Watch Series 9 is available in two sizes: 41-millimetre and 45-millimetre. It has a new hardware and screen refresh rate. The Watch Ultra 2 is also expected to be available in a larger size of 49-millimetre.

AirPods Pro

The AirPods Pro now come with USB Type-C charging in place of the existing Lightning port. They also have new features like the ability to mute and unmute (a new feature called conversational awareness).
