Apple fans are eagerly awaiting the Wonderlust event, which will take place tonight at 10 a.m. PT and 1 p.m. ET. The event will be streamed online from the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park, and you can watch it live on Apple’s website, the Apple TV app, YouTube, or various other platforms. The event will start at 10:30 p.m. IST for Indian viewers.
The Wonderlust event is expected to showcase the latest innovations from Apple, including the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro lineup, the Apple Watch Series 9, and the second-generation Apple Watch Ultra. It may also reveal some updates to the AirPods, the iPad mini, and other products.
The iPhone 15 series is likely to consist of four models: the iPhone 15, the iPhone 15 Plus, the iPhone 15 Pro, and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. The new iPhones are rumored to feature USB-C ports instead of Lightning ports, a notch-less design with a Dynamic Island camera system, a 48-megapixel main camera with improved low-light performance, a ProMotion refresh rate and an always-on display for the Pro models, and new colors such as blue, coral, greenish yellow, white, and black.
The Apple Watch Series 9 is expected to have a larger display with thinner bezels and rounded corners, a faster processor, a longer battery life, and new health features such as blood pressure monitoring and fall detection. The Apple Watch Ultra is a premium version of the Apple Watch that offers a more luxurious design and advanced features such as an ECG sensor, a blood oxygen sensor, and a body temperature sensor.
The AirPods are expected to get USB-C charging, spatial audio support, and active noise cancellation. The iPad mini is expected to get a redesign with slimmer bezels and a Touch ID button. Other products and services that may be announced or updated include the iPad Air, the Mac mini, the MacBook Air M2, the iPad Pro with OLED displays, the Magic Keyboard accessory, the Apple TV+ streaming service, and the Apple Arcade gaming service.
Apple CEO Tim Cook has teased that the event will be “a celebration of innovation and creativity” that reflects Apple’s vision of "making technology more personal and more powerful for everyone". Stay tuned for more details as they unfold.
